As a veteran-owned family and business, Memorial Day carries a deeper meaning for us. While many see today as the unofficial start of summer, a day for BBQs, gatherings, and time spent with loved ones, the true meaning of Memorial Day runs much deeper.Memorial Day is a day of remembrance. A day to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives while serving our country. These heroes never made it home to their families, their children, their spouses, or the lives they planned beyond the uniform. Their sacrifice is the reason we have the freedoms and opportunities we enjoy today.So as we fire up grills, gather around tables, laugh with friends, and create memories with family, take a moment to pause and reflect on why we have this day.
